Maddy Hirsch

Based out of South Philadelphia, Maddy Hirsch has been making jewelry since 2017. She focuses mostly on hand carving wax skills, along with mold making and production work. Outside of production and wax carving Maddy enjoys working on custom projects for customers especially classic nameplate jewelry.

Growing up in New Jersey to a Jewish family and surrounded by Italian friends, Maddy takes a lot of visual cues from classic New York jewelry trends. In addition, tying in themes of Y2K Claire’s trinkets, skateboarding objects, and hardcore punk music, Maddy creates a cohesive and in-depth visual dialogue with her pieces that explores her own identity and her relationship to the place and time that she lives in.
