The roadkill brooches are beautiful dead cats with open wounds surrounded by carnations, made to honor the animals that die from being run over on the road. This image used to only exist in my drawings but I liked the idea of turning it into something you could carry with you to commemorate them. I made brooches because you can pin them to your chest, close to your heart.
